Your responsibilities

As a design engineer, you will be responsible for the independent design and further development of components, assemblies and complete plant systems in the field of alkaline hydrolysis.

You will also create and maintain technical documentation, drawing versions and change histories as part of data and document management, and support the tendering and project phases by providing technical specifications and design proposals.

You will oversee projects from the concept phase through to detailed design and final approval for manufacturing and assembly; optimise existing designs in terms of assembly complexity, weight, costs and ease of maintenance; and work closely with production, manufacturing, assembly, service and technical procurement.

In addition, you will create and maintain technical documentation, drawing versions and change histories as part of data and document management, and support the quotation and project phases by providing technical specifications and design solutions.
Your skills
- A completed apprenticeship or degree in mechanical engineering or design, with experience in systems engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in a standard 3D CAD system (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo) and the ability to produce production-ready drawings in accordance with DIN standards.
